If you are changing your vehicle's gear transmission ratio (as a tuning meaure) and only
want to exchange the clutch bell for a clutch bell with a different number of teeth, then the
RC mounting plate and the main pinion (center differential) doesn't need to be disas-
sembled.
In this case it is sufficient to loosen the four screws of the engine mount and to push the
engine in a way so that the clutch bell can be pulled off.

Setting of shift point

On a headless scew (2mm Alen screw), the spring
resistance of the centrifugal clutch and therefore
the shift point can be adjusted.
Turning of screw
• The spring preload is increased. Higher revolu-
tions are needed so that the attachment to
grips.
• The transmission switches later.
Unscrewing the screw
• The spring preload is loweed. Lower revolutions
are needed so that the attachment grips.
• The transmission switches earlier.
c) Adjusting suspension/lower suspension setting
The spring elements of the suspension of the vehicle consists of a coil spring each in whose center an
oil dampened suspension made of treated aluminium.
On the top the coil spring rests against a screw ring on the outer tube of the suspension and a plate on
the bottom end of the piston rod.
• Turning the screw ring towards the top (in clock-
wise direction) relieves the spring, the suspen-
sion gets "softer".
• Turning it towards the bottom (counter clock-
wise) increases the spring preload, the suspen-
sion gets "harder".
