Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible, if
- the product exhibits visible damage,
- the product does not operate any longer and
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
• Always separate the rechargeable battery pack from the receiver when you the vehicle isn't used.
Take the batteries (or rechargeable batteries) out of the receiver battery holder and the remote
control holder.
In the case of old batteries or rechargeable batteries there is the risk that they leak and damage the
product. Please note the notes on batteries/rechargeable batteries in these operating instructions.
• Empty the tank if the vehicle is not used.
• Clean the vehicle when the drive operation has ended.
• Only transport the vehicle (eg in the car) with an emptied tank. Escaping vapours are a health haz-
ard! There is furthermore a danger of fire and explosion!
Fuel and oil residues can soil, eg the boot of your vehicle. This is why you should think about using a
suitable surface or use a transport case. Transport the vehicle separate from all component parts in
order to avoid getting, eg the remote control dirty.
• Let the vehicle cool down completely before you tansport it. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
• Only transport model fuels in suitable containers, close them completely.
• Don't let any fuels or oils get in the environment. Never pour fuels in the nature or down the drain!
Dispose of them in an environmentally friendly way, eg via problem waste collection.
As a matter of principle, the use of a two-stroke engine is much more hazardous for the environment
because of its unclean combustion than a conventional modern "real" car with a controlled cata-
lytic converter.
• Only drive on suitable tracks/places. The use on public streets, places and paths is not permitted.
The high level of noise of the vehile makes the use in residential areas impossible, unless you want
to get into trouble with the residents there. This is why we recommend only to drive on specially
designated streches, eg the racing track of a model vehicle club.
