c) Radio Remote Control
• Every time before you use the product, make sure that there are no other models operated within
the range and on the same frequency as your tranmitter/receiver system. You could loose control
over your model.
• First of all bring the remote control lever in center position, let go of it. When putting the device into
operation always turn on the transmitter first. Only then can the receiver battery be connected with
the receiver and the receiver can be turned on.
Otherwise there can be unforeseeable reactions of the receiver or of the connected servo.
When you use the model for the first time the trim regulator for steering and throttle/brake has to
be set correctly.
• During the starting process the wheels of the vehicles must not be on the ground. We recommend
the use of a start box onto which the vehicle can be placed.
Place the vehicle in a way so that the wheels and drive can move freely (don't put hand into drive!).
When starting the engine, it can happpen that the centrifugal clutch gets activated at higher revolu-
tions, the wheels suddenly start to turn!
Set the trim for steering in a way so that the steering is straight.
• Before operating the model, always check on the stationary model (eg on the start box) whether it
reacts as expected to the remote control commands.
• Always let the remote control and the receiver turned on whilst the engine is running.
• When the rechargeable battery is low (or the normal batteries) the range of transmission is reduced,
it furthermore no longer responds conrrectly to remote control commands.
Pay attention to the battery/rechargeable battery display of your radio remote control.
Stop drive operation immediately. Afterwards exchange the batteries or rechargeable batteries in
the vehicle (receiver current supply) or in the transmitter for new ones.
• As long as the model is in operation always leave the remote control transmitter turned on, . To
stopthe vehicle always turn the combustion engine off first, afterwards turn the receiver off and
separate it from the receiver battery.
Only then can the transmitter be turned off.

14. Entretien et nettoyage
Un entretien ou une réparation de l'émetteur ou du récepteur ne doit être effectuée que
par un atetier spécialisé. Ne jamais ouvrir ces deux composant du produit.
Une intervention non autorisée annule la conformité (CE) et la garantie.
a) Emetteur radiopiloté
Nettoyez l'extérieur de l'émetteur avec un chiffon propre, doux et sec ou un pinceau.
N'utilisez dans aucun cas de détergents agressifs ou de solutions chimiques, ceci pourrait
endommager la surface du boîtier.
b) Modèle réduit de voiture
Vous trouverez de plus amples informations au chapître 11 f)
• Nettoyez le modèle à la suite de chaque mise en service au moyen d'un chiffon sec et enlevez
salissures, sable ainsi que les résidus de carburant ou d'huile.
• Pour le nettoyage des roues d'engrenage de l'entraînement, utilisez un pinceau à crins fermes.
• Enduisez le moteur à la suite de sa mise en service d'huile Afterun et si vous ne l'utilisez pas pour
une longue durée, d'une huile de conservation.
• Lavez les filtres d'air dans des intervalles réguliers et huilez-les ensuite d'une huile pour filtre dair.
• N'utilisez que des lubréfiants appropriés aux pièces mobiles de l'entraînement.
• Contrôlez tous les vissages dans des intervalles réguliers et assurez-vous qu'ils sont bien fixés.. Les
pièces orientables doivent pouvoir être bougées facilement mais ne doivent toutefois pas présenter
de jeu dans les articulations. Les fortes vibrations lors de la mise en service peuvent causer le
desserrement des vis.
• Contrôlez dans des intervalles réguliers l'usure des pneus et testez le fonctionnement des freins et
de l'amortisseur de chocs.
Assurez-vous que les pneus sont bien placés sur les jantes. Remplacez les pneus usagés, ces derniers
ne peuvent plus seconder la traction.
• Pour nettoyer la carosserie, un chiffon doux, léger, humidifié d'eau tiède peut être utilisé. Ne frottez
pas trop fort, ceci pourrait causer des rayures ou endommager la couche de vernis.
