d) Démarrage et mise en marche du moteur
Contrôler le réglage de base du carburateur pour la phase de rodage
• Touner l'aiguille principale du gicleur principal
(1) vers l'intérieur jusqu'à la butée puis la
dévisser de deux tours.
• La vis d'arrêt (2) a déjà été réglée lors du
montage de la timonerie de vitesse.
• La vis de réglage du mélange (3) est pré-réglée.
Ne la tournez pas.
Démarrer le moteur
• Remplissez le réservoir avec du carburant pour modèle réduit 100 ccm (à base de méthanol/huile
de ricin avec environ 5-10% de nitrométhane).
N'utilisez que des marques de carburant appropriées. Les huiles de carburants de modèles réduits
de haute qualité sont mélangées à des additifs réagissant contre l'usure, il est donc recommandé
de mélanger environ 3% d'huile de ricin durant la phase de rodage. La calamine se dégageant pendant
la combustion polit les surfaces de roulement du piston et accélère ainsi énormément la phase de
rodage.
• Lors du premier démarrage, placez le modèle sur un support approprié (poste de rodage) afin de
permettre au roues de tourner librement.
Attention !
Dès que le régime augmente au delà d'une certaine limite, le coupleur et toute la chaîne
de transmission de même que le roues du modèle commencent à tourner immédiatement.
Veillez à ce qu'aucune partie du corps ni aucun object ne se trouve à proximité dangereuse
de ces derniers. Risque de blessure !
• Allumez l'émetteur radiopiloté puis allumez le récepteur
• Réglez la marche à vide pour l'émetteur radiopiloté (levier de commande en position neutre).
• Procédez à plusieurs remplissages via la pompe du réservoir afin de remplir le tuyau de carburant
(vous ne devez plus pouvoir voir des bulles d'air).
Ne pas aspirer trop de carburant !
ou :
Retirez le filte à air, fermez l'ouverture d'aspiration d'air ; activez ensuite plusieurs fois le démarreur
à câble jusqu'à vous ne puissiez plus voir des bulles d'air.

d) Installation of receiver and antenna
After the function control and the mounting of the servos, the receiver, the ON/OFF switch, the battery
holder and the antenna can be permanently inserted in the receiver box on the chassis.
• Screw off the cover with the name of the switch
position of the ON/OFF switch.
• Guide the ON/OFF switch from the inside
through the opening in the lid of the receiver
box.
• Put the cover back onto the switch from the
outside and fasten the cover through the lid
with the switch.
Make sure that the marking of the cover "ON" or "OFF" of the switch state corresponds
with the actual switch state, meaning that the power supply is turned on at "ON" and off at
"OFF".
• Conncet the connectors of the switch cable with
the battery holder of the receiver.
• Put the battery holder holding the four
rechargeable batteries size AA horizontally into
receiver box.
• Connect the servos with the receiver.
When laying the cables make sure that they are as taut as possible and that they can't get
into contact with rotating parts. To fix the cables use cable binders. Tuck excess lengths
into receiver box.
• Turning the receiver upright onto its narrow side, it fits in the front of the receiver box.
• Guide the antenna wire of the receiver from the inside through the boring in the lid of the box and
afterwards through the antenna guidance tube.
• Insert the antenna guidance tube in the holder on the outside of the lid and secure the antenna wire
on the top on the guidance tube by wrapping adhesive tape around it or by pulling a piece of stocking
tube over it.
• Make sure that the lid for changing the rechargeable batteries can still be opened easily after fixing
the antenna wires (don't pull wire out too far). Never shorten the antenna cable of the receiver, try
not to bind it together! This reduces the range.
