e) Régler le carrossage
Le carrossage est l'inclinaison du niveau de la roue par rapport à la perpendiculaire.
Un carrossage négatif (bord supérieur de la roue tourné vers l'intérieur) sur les roues avant augmente
la force de stabilité latérale des roues lors de virages, la direction réagit directement, les forces de
pilotage sont réduites.
En même temps, la roue est pressée en direction de l'essieu sur la fusée d'essieu. Ceci désactive le jeu
de palier axial, la voiture est plus calme.
Un carrossage négatif sur les roues arrière réduit la tendance de l'arrière de la voiture à déraper dans
les virages. Par un réglage négatif du carrossage, l'usure de la face interne des pneus augmente.
Cet effet peut être compensé en procédant à un pinçage des roues avant (6.5).
Régler le carrossage sur les roues avant et arrière
Les tiges filetées droite et gauche avec clé pour le réglage du carrossage se trouvent dans les bras
transversaux supérieurs entre support de fusée d'essieu et carter du différentiel.
Carrossage négatif
Tourner la clé vers l'avant, le bord supérieur de la roue est tiré vers
l'intérieur.
Carrossage positif
Tourner la clé vers l'arrière, le bord supérieur de la roue est tiré vers
l'extérieur.

7. Remote Control

rately, they are only enclosed for item no 226471 (the ready-made complete vehicle, RTR).
For the vehicle with item no 226470 almost every modern remote control with a minimum
of 2 channels can be build in.
8. General Information
a) For beginners and RC car newcomers
We recommend to read these installation and operating instructions very thoroughly and carefully be-
fore using the model for the first time.
In the model description, chapter 9, you will find out everything about the characteristics of this model.
In chapter 10 you will find the tools and accessories that you will need for the final assembly and what
other jobs belong to the drive preparations.
Whilst you are getting the model ready to run, it is the easiest way to get to learn the functions of your
vehicle and the technical correlations. This knowledge not only makes the maintenance of your model
easier (chapter 5), looking for faults and carrying out small repairs but also tuning.
With increasing driving experience you will also have higher expectations to the drive performance of
your model. Optimize the chassis tuning in accordance with your own style of driving and your preferred
area of use.

In these instructions you don't just find out how you can change what settings, but also why these
changes lead to what results.
Technical terms are necessary! ... but not everybody is familiar with them. In order to always know what
these operating instructions are talking about and to be able to talk shop with other model sportsman
you will find a little dictionary in this chapter.
Furthermore: If something breaks at some point, you have to order replacement parts. Save us and
others from misunderstandings when ordering and therefore from more expenses in terms of time and
money, by giving the necessary part the correct name (and item number).
