– Routing of the guide wires
Preparing mowing areas
► Remove any objects lying around.
► Remove metals, magnetic materials and mate‐
rials that conduct electricity as well as old
perimeter wires.
► Mow lawns with a lawn mower to the cutting
height that will later be set for the operation of
the robot mower. The default setting for the
cutting height on the robot mower is a = 6 cm.
► Level out holes and rough, uneven patches.
Using a wire installation machine
NOTICE
■ It is recommended that the wires be installed
with a wire installation machine so that the
guide wires and perimeter wire are not dam‐
aged. This protects the wires during lawn care
(e.g. aeration) and match operations.
► Do not work with machines that penetrate
the soil deeper than the guide wires and the
perimeter wire that have been installed.
► Maximum depth for installing the guide
wires and perimeter wire: a = 10 cm.
