10 Stopping the robot mower and activating the device lock
Wi-Fi connections must be password protected.
The password should not be disclosed to third
parties.
The setting up of the Wi-Fi network and the func‐
tions of the router depend on the manufacturer of
the router.

STIHL connected
The most important settings can be made from a
desktop computer using the STIHL connected
Portal or from a mobile device using the STIHL
connected app.
The robotic mower can be connected to a desk‐
top computer or mobile device via a wireless net‐
work connection (WLAN) or mobile phone con‐
nection.
The range of functions is partially restricted com‐
pared to the MY iMOW

Using PIN protection

Pushbuttons (3 and 4) can be protected by a
PIN. If PIN protection is active, the robotic mower
can no longer be operated directly by the but‐
tons. PIN protection is set up by the MY iMOW
app.
The pushbuttons STOP (1) and LOCK (2) are
exempted from the PIN protection. The robotic
mower can also be stopped when the PIN pro‐
tection is active.

Operating the robotic mower with active PIN pro‐
tection
► Press STOP (1).
► Press LOCK (2).
► Press the illuminated pushbuttons START (3)
or HOME (4).
► Enter a PIN by using the illuminated pushbut‐
tons (2 to 4).
If the PIN is entered correctly, the PIN protec‐
tion is suspended for 60 seconds.
► Press the desired pushbutton to start (3) the
mowing job or send (4) the robotic mower to
the docking station.
If no pushbuttons are pressed or a false PIN is
entered, the robotic mower continues its cur‐
rent action after 60 seconds.

WARNING
■ The robot mower may unintentionally be
switched on if the robot mower is not stopped
and shut down by activating the device lock as
described in this User Manual. This may result
in serious injury to people and damage to
property.
► Stop the robot mower and activate the
device lock during transport, storage, clean‐
ing, servicing and repair or when there is
changed or unusual behavior.
®
► Press STOP (1).
The robot mower is stopped and locked.
► Press and hold STOP (1) until the light
strip (2) fully lights up red.
