1.4.4 Menu structure

The home menu consists of three sections for the user: test (Section 5), results (Section 7) and settings (Section 3).
In addition to these, the administrator (admin) will have access to the admin settings (Section 4).

1.4.5 Power button as instrument status indicator

The different power button signals indicate the instrument's status.
Start-up:
Holding down the power button for 1 second will initiate the Actim 1ngeni instrument's start
up. Self test is performed in every start up assuring functionality of the instrument. Wait for the
instrument self test to complete, after which the instrument's application home screen is displayed.
Do not insert instrument check or test cartridge into the instrument during the self test.
Shutdown: Once the instrument is powered on and the instrument's application is visible, the instrument is
shutdown when the power button is pressed and held for 3 seconds. The shutdown status bar is
displayed and the instrument is powered off. The instrument will go into a screen saver mode when
left on and not in use.
Rapid flash: Initial power connection registered.
Slow flash: Power connected. Instrument shutdown.
Solid:
Instrument on.
