10. Testing the remote control

Before you start using the transmitter, you should familiarise yourself with the controls.
a) Transmitter controls
1 LED indicator
2 Aileron and elevator joystick
3 On/off switch (see also Figure 17)
4 Aileron trim buttons
5 Elevator trim buttons
6 Motor function trim buttons
7 Trim buttons (without function)
8 Dual rate switch (see also Figure 25)
9 V-LAND switch (see also Figure 29)
10 Motor speed joystick
11 Reverse switches (see also Figs. 16 and 24)
The model aircraft uses a non-hinged rudder. Therefore, the trim buttons (see Figure 15, no. 7) have no
function and there is no need to move the joystick sideways (see Figure 15, no. 10) to control the model.
When the motor speed joystick is moved up or down, it remains in the respective position. All other joysticks
are automatically held in the middle position by spring force.
