H I N T S A N D T I P P S
Attention: Always turn the mixer off by turning the speed control dial to
the "OFF" position, unplug the plug from the power socket and wait, till
motor and attachment have stopped completely moving before remov-
ing, changing or attaching the attachments.

SPEED SETTING

Start mixing at a low speed and increase gradually until you reach the required
speed. As soon as the dough becomes firm, increase the speed.
Cake dough mixtures can be prepared on medium or high speed.
CHOICE OF ATTACHMENTS
Use the beater for all mixing tasks.
Use the wire whisk for all whipping or aeration tasks.
Use the dough hook only for kneading heavy dough and incorporating new in-
gredients.
Hint for the use of the wire whisk: Don't whisk solid ingredients with the wire
whisk - it could bend!
MIXING
Mix for the recommended time in the recipe - avoid over mixing.
EGG WHITE
Be sure the whisk and bowl are completely clean and dry before use - a small
amount of fat or egg yolk will affect whipping performance.
Beaten egg whites are made with the whisk on speed "Aerating Whipping".
Don't beat the eggs for to long or it will separate into solid and liquid parts.

WHIPPED CREAM

To prepare whipped cream, also whisk on the "Aerating Whipping" speed set-
ting. Don't whip the cream to long or you'll end up with butter. The cream is per-
fect if it sticks on the whisk as you pull it out.
