ADDING THE INGREDIENTS
Liquids should be poured in slowly to avoid them collecting in the middle of the
bowl and make the mixing harder.
We advise you to carefully alternate between adding, then mixing dry and wet
ingredients.
If you want to add heavy ingredients, such as nuts, raisins or chocolate bits, use
the beater on the lowest speed. This way, the ingredients will stay as they are
and won't be smashed.
BREAD DOUGH
Add liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients. Use "Folding/Kneading" setting to
knead ingredients into a dough ball. Do not place hands near dough hook when
mixer is operating.

YEAST DOUGH

For yeast dough or heavy doughs, you should always use the dough hook and
the "Folding/Kneading" speed setting to avoid the overload-safety cut off be-
ing activated.
Yeast needs a warm environment, so you should always warm the bowl up with
some hot water before putting the dough in. If the dough sticks to the hook,
continue kneading until it has a more elastic texture.
OBJECT HAS FALLEN IN THE MIXING BOWL
Should an object such as a spoon or spatula fall into the bowl while mixing, im-
mediately turn the mixer off, unplug the mixer from the power outlet and re-
move the object.
Pour the ingredients in as far towards the edge of the bowl as possible, avoid
pouring directly into where the stirring is - this happens automatically when you
use the feeder tube for the lid.
