28. Before attempting to move, disassembling or cleaning, always ensure the ap-
pliance ist turned off by turning the control dial to OFF-position. Then take the
plug out of the power socket and unplug the cord. Make sure the motor and
attachments have completely stopped. Please also proceed as described when
appliance is not in use.
29. Do not operate the appliance continuously with heavy and solid loads for more
than 3 minutes. Allow the motor to cool before starting the appliance again.
None of the recipes in this instruction book are considered a "heavy and solid
load".
30. Handle the bench mixer and attachments with care. Never put your fingers in
the mixing bowl or near the attachments during operation. Keep hands, hair, clot-
hing as well as spatulas and other utensils away from moving beater, whisk or
dough hook during operation.
31. If an object such as a spoon or spatula falls into the bowl while mixing, imme-
diately turn the speed control dial to the "OFF" position, unplug at the power
socket and remove the object, when motor and attachement have completely
stopped moving.
32. Always ensure the speed control dial is in the "OFF" position, the power plug
is unplugged from the power outlet and the motor and the beater, whisk or
dough hook have completely stopped moving before:
• unlocking the mixer head and moving into the upright position
• putting your hands in the mixing bowl
• removing or changing the attachments
• removing food from the mixer bowl
• disassembling or cleaning the bench mixer.
33. The mixer head should be in the upright position and the beater, whisk or dough
hook should be released from the mixer head before removing the mixed food
from the mixer bowl.
34. Before cleaning always release the attachments.
35. Do not use the SOLIS Kitchen Queen for anything other than food preparation.
36. Do not operate the mixer without food or liquid in the mixing bowl.
37. Do not process any hot or boiling liquids. Allow to cool before being poured into
the mixing bowl. The steam could damage the appliance.
38. Keep the bench mixer clean. Follow the cleaning instructions "Cleaning and Sto-
rage" provided in this instruction book. Do not put any part of the bench mixer
in the dishwasher other than the bowl, beater, dough hook and whisk.
