5·3 KEY SWITCH (not included in the basic
engine)
Power is supplied to the circuits from the battery when the
engine stops and from the dynamo when the engine rotates,
depending on the position of key switch.
• Key position: 0 F F
When key switch is at OFF, battery terminal No. 30 is not
connected with any other terminals.

• Key position: PREHEAT
When key switch is at PREHEAT, battery terminal No. 30 is
connected with terminal No. 19 and with terminal AC. As
terminal No. 19 is connected with terminal No. 17 through
glow plugs indicator (not included in the basic engine), glow
plugs and glow plug indicator are heated.
When key switch is released free after heating glow plugs, it is
returned automatically to OFF position.
