(8) Changing Pipes
Rubber pipes (fuel pipes, hoses, etc.) have short lives whether
they are used or not. Change them and the tightening bands
for new ones every 2 years or when they are damaged.
1} Be carefu I that pipes, hoses and tightening bands are not
loosened or damaged.
2} When changing the pipes, vent air from the fuel system.
A CAUTION :
• When changing, be careful not to let dust enter pipes or
injection pump.
Dust may be the cause of irregular action in injection
pump or injection nozzle.

(9) Changing Coolant (Radiator is not included in
the basic engine)
1} Open drain cock and radiator cap to drain all the water.
2} Wash the inside of the radiator with tap water.
• Treatment of Anti-freeze
When temperatures fall below O°C (32°F), never fail to mix
anti-freeze with the cooling tap water. As the ratios between
them are different according to the manufacturer and
temperature, follow the instructions of each firm.
ACAUTION:
• Never open radiator cap while engine is running or soon
after it stops. Hot water sometimes shoots out if the
radiator cap is opened while the engine is hot.
