Description of the "expert" display mode
This method is intended for the advanced operator. It
provides a detailed test procedure with all of the test
items (Fig. 31). For each test item, it provides a de-
tailed "Passed" or "Not passed" test log (Fig. 32). The
measurement results are also displayed in bar form.
Depending on the result of the measurement, the bars
are displayed in color:
Measurement bar color Meaning
Green Measured value is within the speci-
fied tolerance
Red Measured value is outside specified
tolerance
White No quantity

Maintenance screen

If the maintenance is not performed correctly, it
reduces the life of the EPS 118. Liability claims for
defective components that were not properly main-
tained will not be honored.
The maintenance screen (Fig. 33) displays all the nec-
essary maintenance tasks, maintenance intervals and
the time of use since the last maintenance. If mainte-
nance is pending in EPS 118, the maintenance screen is
automatically displayed after you turn on the EPS 118.
Once you perform or confirm all pending maintenance
tasks with <Yes> or <Postpone>, the <Continue> key is
activated.

You can open the maintenance screen by going to
"Options >> Settings >> EPS118 >> Preventive
maintenance".

The operating hours meter for "Service high-pres-
sure pump" can only be reset by customer service.

Green No maintenance due.
Red Maintenance due. Perform maintenance
and confirm with <Yes>, or postpone the
maintenance to a later time with <Post-
pone>. After confirming with <Yes>, the
time of use is reset to zero hours.
Orange Maintenance was postponed with <Post-
pone>. The number of postponed mainte-
nance sessions is displayed.
