Fasten the machine stand cross members (short)
(16) and machine stand cross members (long)
(16a) to the machine stand legs (15) using four
carriage bolts (C) and four locking nuts (A) each.
Use the enclosed ring spanner (D) to tighten them.
6.
Push one rubber foot (18) onto each machine
stand leg (15)
7.
Mount an anti-tipping bar (17) onto each of the rear
machine stand legs (15). Use two carriage bolts
(C) and two locking nuts (A) for each. Tighten them
using the ring spanner (D) supplied.
8.2
Fitting the table width extensions (Fig. 4)
1.
Screw the two table width extensions (7) to the
saw table (4) using two hexagon head screws (B)
and two locking nuts (A). Note the corresponding
drilled holes on the saw table (4). Use the ring
spanner (D) and the ring spanner (E) for this.
2.
Note: During this step, ensure that the table width
extensions (7) are correctly aligned with the saw
table (4).
8.3
Installing the cross members (Fig. 3, 4, 5)
1.
Remove the hexagon head screws (B) and locking
nuts (A) on the side of the machine housing.
2.
Position the cross members (8) on the inside of
the table width extensions and on both sides of the
machine housing.
3.
Fix the cross members (8) and the machine stand
legs (15) with the previously removed hexagon
head screws (B) and locking nuts (A).
4.
Attach four cross members (8) to the table width
extensions (7) each with a hexagon head screw
(B) and a locking nut (A).
5.
Finally, tighten all hexagon head screws (B) on the
table width extensions (7) using the ring spanner
(D) and ring spanner (E) supplied.
6.
Carefully turn the product over and place it on the
floor.
7.
Tighten all screw connections on the machine stand.
8.4
Mount the parallel stop (incl. scale) left/right
(9 + 20) (Fig. 6)
1.
Insert both parallel stop guides (9 + 20) into each
other.
2.
Insert six carriage bolts (C) from the outside
through the front holes and fasten them loosely
with a locking nut (A).
3.
Slide the parallel stop guide (incl. scale) left/right
(9 + 20) over the heads of the carriage bolts (C)
until it is centred in relation to the saw table (4).

Then tighten the locking nuts (A) using the ring
spanner (D).
Note:
Hereafter, the two assembled guides are referred to as
the parallel stop (9 + 20) guide rail.
8.5
Saw blade guard
8.5.1
Fitting the saw blade guard (1) (Fig. 1, 7)
1.
Drive the saw blade (3) out as far as it will go
by turning the hand wheel (12) clockwise until it
reaches the stop.
2.
Press the locking pin (1a) on the saw blade guard (1).
3.
Insert the pressed locking pin (1a) into the groove
of the riving knife (2) and release it.
4.
Ensure that the saw blade guard (1) can move freely.
5.
Disassembly takes place in reverse order.

Danger of injury due to incorrectly mounted saw blade
guard

Before starting sawing, ensure that the saw
blade guard (1) lowers automatically onto the
material to be sawn.
8.5.2
Check the saw blade guard (Fig. 1, 7)
After fitting, check that the saw blade guard (1) is func-
tioning properly.
1.
Lift the saw blade guard (1) and then release it.
2.
The saw blade guard (1) should move back to its
starting position automatically.
8.5.3
Removing the table inlay (Fig. 7, 8)
1.
Press the locking pin (1a) on the saw blade guard (1).
2.
Hold down the locking pin (1a) and remove the saw
blade guard (1) from the groove of the riving knife (2).
3.
Set the saw blade (3) to the max. cutting depth,
move to the 0° position and lock in place (see 11.2
and 11.3).
4.
Loosen the two Phillips screws (23a) with a Phillips
screwdriver.
5.
Remove the table inlay (23) from the saw table (4).
8.5.4
Insert and adjust the riving knife (Fig. 7, 8)
Note:
The riving knife (2) must be adjusted before using the
machine for the first time.
1.
Undo the fixing screw (2a). Use the 10 mm ring
spanner (D) for this.
