6. Commissioning, operation
A typical configuration of Pascal ET for the calibration of a pressure transmitter is illustrated in the following figure:
Set a channel for pressure values reading, assigned as REF

Set a channel for mA reading at the inputs IN A or IN B (if present), assigned as DUT
■
Enable the 24 V power supply by pressing the button
■
Make the connections as indicated (Fig. 87 "Pressure transmitter calibration example".

6.9.2 Example 3 – Calibration of 4-wire RTD's
A 4-wire RTD can be calibrated by using the method of comparison, connecting it to the input (IN A) as a DUT (Device Under
Test) and comparing it with a reference RTD connected to the other input (IN B) as REF (Reference).
In this way the two measures can be compared, the calculated error is reported on the calibration report.
The figure below shows the connection of the calibrator.
