6.6.1 Report of Tc/Rtd with dry-well calibrator or dry-block management
The Pascal calibrator allows to create reports for thermocouples or resistance thermometer by using a dry-well calibrator and
by automatically manage the temperature points. With the serial interface the Pascal calibrator is able to connect to some
dry-well calibrators and automatically set the temperature value e and detect the reached stability in order to automatically
store the temperature points and then run the test autonomously.
The Pascal calibrator can manage the following dry-well calibrators:
All models of the Scandura BL-x series
■
All models of the WIKA CTD-9100-x series
■
WIKA model CTD-9100-1100
■
Giussani's dry-well calibrators Pyros series
■
The models of the WIKA CTD-9100-x series require an adapter kit for the conversion from RS-232 to RS-485.
For some dry-well calibrators a switching on safety condition could prevent the automatic setting of a set point. In
this case the operator must disable this feature. Please read the user manual supplied with the dry-well calibrator
for further details.
For managing of this report the Pascal calibrator also must be equipped with almost 2 IN interfaces, where one interface must
be connected to a reference thermometer (REF) and the second one to the device under test (DUT), both used into the same
well dry calibrator.
An RTD or a thermocouple can be used for both the reference thermometer (REF) and the device under test (DUT):
