6. Commissioning, operation
Go back to the previous screen and press the button [RAMP ON] shortly to run the ramp function: the calibrator will show the
main screen and on the output channel the indication "RAMP" will appears (ramp active on Channel B).
More information about the channel menu is available in chapter 6.5 "Channel settings"

6.4.2 Functions setting

This screen is used to setting the calibrator function:
The screen is as follows:
Here the user can set different functions grouped by:
Section
Meaning
REPORT
This section is intended for the reports management. For detailed information see chapter 6.6 "Report"
PRESET
This section is intended for the presets management. For detailed information see chapter 6.6 "Report"
This section is intended for the datalogger management. For detailed information see chapter 6.7 "Data logger"
LOGGER
MEMORY
The data regarding the report, the datalogger and the presets are stored in the internal memory of the instrument. It
is a virtual memory, the same as the files saved on a computer.
The MEMORY section provides 2 different selections:
FORMAT
DEFRAG
WIKA operating instructions, model Pascal ET

it deletes the memory completely and it is reset to the company default. This option will delete ALL
the above mentioned data, but a confirmation message will appear before executing the command.
This function can be useful if a lot of data are saved and deleted frequently. In this case some not
used blank spaces could be created in the memory and a message for insufficient space for storing
new data could be displayed. The Defrag function can be used to recover that not used space; the
saved data WILL NOT be deleted but a certain time should be necessary to complete the process.
