• Keep fuel in well-ventilated rooms only and keep it away from ignition sources.
• Only transport the model when the tank is empty! Empty the tank if you do not use the model for several days.
• Only use appropriate containers for transporting the fuel.
• The fuel can eat away and damage varnish and rubber parts.
• Empty fuel containers as well as remaining fuel must be disposed of as hazardous waste.
• Do not burn fuel containers!

c) Driving

• Never drive if your ability to respond is limited (e.g. when tired, under medication or under the influence of alcohol). Improper reactions can cause serious
personal injury or property damage!
• Do not drive towards groups, persons or animals!
• Always keep visual contact to your model! Do not drive at night.
• Never drive on roads that are open to public road traffic! Observe any requirements and provisions for the premises.
• Do not drive in closed rooms!
• Regularly check all screw connections and attachments, as these may come off or loosen due to engine vibrations during driving.
• Avoid driving at very low outdoor temperatures. The synthetic material of the car body and chassis parts loses its elasticity; thus, even small collisions may
lead to splintering and breaks.
d) Radio Remote Control
• Before each start, check the range of your remote control system.
• Check the charge level indicator of your remote control! Weak or flat rechargeable (or regular) batteries can make you lose control over your model.
• Make sure that the rechargeable batteries of both transmitter and receiver are completely charged.
• Screw the transmitter aerial in tight and pull it out to its entire length. If the aerial is not fully extended, the radio remote control's range reduces.
• Before starting the engine, make sure that the throttle/brake servo is in the idle position.
• Verify at the stationary model that the servos respond to the signal of the remote control!
• Secure excess lengths and loose cables with thin cable fasteners! Particularly observe that the cables cannot get into moving parts anywhere.
• Make sure that nobody else nearby is transmitting on your frequency! Interfering signals on the same frequency can make you lose control over your model.
Even when using different modulation types (FM, PPM, AM, PCM), the same frequency must not be used!
• Do not drive underneath high voltage power lines or radio masts.
• Do not drive in thunderstorms! Atmospheric interferences may impair your radio remote control's signals.
• Don't drive in the rain, through wet grass, water, mud or snow. The RC system components are not water-proof!
• Always leave the remote control and the receiver turned on when the engine is running!
• Switching off: First switch off the engine, then the receiver and last the transmitter!
e) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
• Remove the rechargeable batteries from the receiver if you are not using the later for an extended period of time.
• Never mix rechargeable batteries with dry-cell batteries.
• Never mix full and half full rechargeable batteries / batteries or rechargeable batteries with different capacities. Otherwise, the weaker rechargeable batteries/
batteries or the rechargeable batteries with a lower capacity may be deep-discharged and leak.
• Never try to charge normal batteries. Danger of explosion!
• Dispose properly of empty batteries or defective/no longer chargeable batteries (see chapter "Disposal").
