Regolazione leva comando e controllo livello fluido freno anteriore
Sul modello SMR la leva sul manubrio può essere regolata su 4 posizioni, a
seconda della dimensione della mano del pilota. Per avvicinare la leva alla
manopola ruotare il registro (B) in senso ORARIO, per allontanare la leva
dalla manopola ruotare il registro (B) in senso ANTIORARIO.
Sui modelli TE e TC il registro (2) posto sulla leva di comando consente di
regolare la corsa a vuoto (a). La corsa a vuoto (a) deve essere almeno di 3
mm. Il livello del fluido nel serbatoio della pompa non deve mai trovarsi al di
sotto del valore minimo (1) visibile dall'oblò ricavato posteriormente sul corpo
pompa (TE, TC) o indicato sul serbatoio trasparente (SMR). Un eventuale
abbassamento del livello del fluido può permettere l'ingresso di aria
nell'impianto con conseguente allungamento della corsa della leva.
: Se la leva del freno risulta troppo "morbida", si è in presenza di aria
nella tubazione o di un difetto dell'impianto: CONTROLLARE L'IMPIANTO
FRENANTE (pag. L.10).
: Se la corsa a vuoto della leva del freno risulta eccessiva, l'azione
frenante può diminire: CONTROLLARE LO SPESSORE DELLE PASTIGLIE
(pag. L.6).
Adjustment of front brake control lever and fluid level control
On the SMR model the lever position can be adjusted (4 adjustments) for any
driver hand size. To decrease the lever distance from the handle grip, turn the
adjuster (B) CLOCKWISE. To increase the lever distance from the handle grip,
turn the adjuster (B) COUNTERCLOCKWISE. On the TE and TC models the
adjuster (2), located on the control lever, allows adjusting of the free play (a).
Free play (a) must be at least 3 mm (0.1 in.). The level of the fluid in pump
reservoir must never be below the minimum value (1), which can be checked
from the window on the rear side of the pump body (TE, TC). For SMR model,
check the level on the fluid reservoir. A decrease of the fuel level will let
air into the sustem, hence an extension of the level stroke.
: If the brake lever feels mushy when it is applied, there may be air in
the brake lines or the brake may be defective: CHECK THE BRAKING
SYSTEM (pag. L.10).
: If the lever free play is excessive, the brake action can decrease:
CHECK THE PADS THICKNESS (page L.6).
