Scope of application
The Alpha Entry is used to label products automatically. The label (usually pre-printed) is ap-
plied while the product moves past using the Wipe-On method.
Labeling using the Wipe-On method
A product sensor starts the label feed. The advanced label is detached from the label liner by

the peeler plate and adheres to the product as it moves past. The product and feed speed
are identical. This guarantees an optimal transfer of the label to the product.
If the Alpha Entry has an optional pressure roller, the label is also pressed onto the product
as it moves past.

Labels can be applied to the top or side of the product depending on the installation position.
