Sources of danger on the labeler

The labeler can pose the following dangers:

Risk of crushing between product and peeler plate when the product is supplied. Addi-
tional protective measures may be necessary, depending on the structure of the con-
veying system and the products supplied.

Entanglement hazard between the rollers and drive unit.

Danger of skin abrasion and cutting injuries on the roll core sheets

Protection device

Danger points can develop at the transition areas of the customer-side conveying systems.
Appropriate protective measures according to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC must be im-
plemented.

Separating and non-separating protection devices

The labeler does not require any additional protection device for the operation. The installa-
tion of additional protective devices is the operator's responsibility, and must comply with
Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

Machine cover

The fixed and bolted on machine covers protect the user against mechanical risks.
