Inserting the label roll

The Alpha Entry is only intended for use with labels rolled up on outside, meaning that the
labels are stuck to the outer side of the label liner when viewing the label roll. This is the only
way the functionality of the roller brake can be guaranteed.

Sharp edges and sharp corners can cause abrasions and cuts to the skin.

If possible, use the empty cardboard core from the unwinder and push over

the vacant roll retainer on the rewinder.
Push the label roll (with outside winding) onto the unwinder.

Remove all the labels on the first 90 cm of the label liner.

Insert the web as shown in the following illustrations Fig. 6-12.

Guide the label liner via the label sensor before you loop it back around the
peeler plate to the drive roller. The label liner behind the peel bar must be

free of labels otherwise they will adhere to the drive rollers.
Secure the label liner around the roll core (possibly 2-3 windings) and turn

the rewinder until the label liner is taut.
Caution when working in the vicinity of sharp edges and sharp cor-
ners.
In case of doubt wear protective gloves.
