Chapter 7 Operation

CALIBRATE LABEL (LABEL CALIBRATION)

The Alpha Entry has a calibration function for labels. This allows the labeler to determine the
label length and the label position independently. I.e. the label stops flush at the peel bar.
For manual adjustments see "LABEL LENGTH CM" (Page 58) and "LABEL POSIT CM"
(Page 58).

Press [Enter] to start the calibration.

Press the [] or [] buttons to go to the next configuration parameter.

To exit configuration selection, please press [Start] or [Stop] respectively.

STORE CONFIG. (store configuration)

The Alpha Entry is able to store up to 49 different applicator configurations (parameter sets).
Please switch to the function menu to read a saved configuration (see page 54).

Press [Enter] to store the current configuration (for password prompt, see page 56).

Afterwards, press the [] or [] *buttons to increase / decrease the value of the
parameter.

To store the value, please press [Enter].

Press the [] or [] buttons to go to the next configuration parameter.

To exit configuration selection, please press [Start] or [Stop] respectively.

The labels are advanced with moderate speed while the calibra-
tion is performed.

and thus cause faults!
