Chapter 6 Installation and initial commissioning
System mounting on a Bluhm Weber Group frame!
If the system is mounted onto a Bluhm Weber Group frame, then please follow the installa-
tion instructions of the supplied frame documentation.
Prerequisites
The labeler is unpacked and prepared (see chapter "Transport"), in the vicinity of the
labeling site.
The power connection is installed in the vicinity of the labeling site (max 1.50 metres
away) as per Chapter "Technical specifications".
The base area is solid, horizontal and level.

Mounting the peeler plate
All mounting parts (e.g. peeler plate, label sensor, pressure roller, etc.) must be installed on
the labeler prior to starting up.
In order to make installation easier, it is recommended that the components are only installed
following system mounting of the labeler (see below). Otherwise the additional weight of the
mounting parts may make handling unnecessarily difficult when mounting the parts on a
stand or similar.

Approach
Roll the labeler to the labeling site (where the label is to be applied to the
product). Move the labeler incrementally without the rollers, by pushing di-
agonally. Observe all points regarding the "Positioning of the labeler" on
page 27.
Horizontally align the labeler with a spirit level, using the adjustable tripod
feet, U-arm and hinge adaptations. (With rollers the locking brakes must be
locked).
