Stopping labeling operation

Putting system out of operation

The label stock receives a curvature in the bend area of the deflection rollers, which can lead
to errors during the dispensing operation. This property of the labels and the degree of curva-
ture depend on the material, and can vary greatly between the different types of print media.
Ambient conditions such as high temperatures and high humidity can enhance the effect.
Remove critical label stock from the labeler before longer downtimes and after the end
of work!

Approach
Press [Feed] or [Enter] to position the label correctly.

If the green LED remains lit, the Alpha Entry is ready for labeling.

Otherwise you may have to perform calibration again (see page 41)
Approach
Switch off the labeler (see page 44).
Observe the information in "Putting system out of operation" (see below).
In case of downtimes which last several hours, the label liner
must be removed from the applicator.
