Connection to the supply voltage

Prerequisites

Power supply in accordance with the Chapter "Technical data", is installed in the vicini-
ty of the labeling site (max 1.5 metres away).

Mains cable (see supplied mounting accessories)
Instruction
The labeler must be connected to the mains connection as follows.

Approach
Now position the product sensor at the front edge of the product.
If a light barrier is used, the reflector is mounted on the opposite side.
TIP! A slightly diagonal arrangement of the light barrier reduces error trig-
gers (caused by reflections from the surface of the product).
Only conduct the test run after correct initial commissioning (see page 43). If
the desired position of the label on the product has not been achieved, reset
this by moving the product sensor (and if necessary the reflector).
However, it is more comfortable to delay the sensor signals via the display
setting. This is only advisable for non-time-critical applications, because this
increases the cycle time.
Approach
Plug the unconnected mains cable into the IEC connection on the labeler.
Connect the other end of the mains cable to the power connector (standard
230 volt socket).
