Initial commissioning

Safety instruction

The initial commissioning assumes that the machine is completely installed.
In addition, it is advisable to extensively test the machine under production conditions. I.e.
ensure the appropriate conditions, but without time pressure and with the use of sample
products. Allow enough time to correct possible errors and perform adjustments.
Prerequisites

All mounting parts are fully installed (see page 29)

Control of product transport

Sufficient number of sample products

Labels are correctly inserted (see page 40).

Labeler is connected to the power supply

Triggering of the labeling is possible via product sensor or I/O interface
Instruction
This is how the labeler can be put into operation.

Hazards from moving parts.
RISK OF INJURY!
Entanglement and risk of being crushed through pneumatically
or mechanically-powered labeler components.
Movements or rotations can start suddenly and abruptly in label-
ing mode.
̶ Do not reach into, towards or between moving parts.
Approach
Place the product onto the conveyor route at a distance of 1-2 m from the
labeler.
RISK OF CRUSHING! Keep away from moving parts.
Switch on the labeler (see page 44).
Calibrate the labels, if necessary (see page 41).
Start labeling mode (see page 44) and observe the labeling process.

If the operation runs smoothly, continue with step 5.

If problems occur, the causes must be identified and remedied.
Please refer to the installation information at the start of the
chapter for instructions on making adjustments.
Only conclude the set-up process once a minimum of 30 products have
been correctly labeled.
