Instructions for troubleshooting are only intended for trained professionals.

Acknowledging errors

Acknowledge the error after it has been resolved, by pressing the [START] button on the dis-
play.

Mechanical errors

The following troubleshooting refers to errors whose cause can possibly not be displayed

Hazards from moving parts.

Entanglement and risk of being crushed through pneumatically
or mechanically-powered labeler components.
Movements or rotations can start suddenly and abruptly in label-
ing mode.
̶ Do not reach into, towards or between moving parts.
Potential reason
Label roll damaged:
Indentations in the label liner.
Pressure points / damage to
the label roll side.
The paper width varies great-
ly.
Adhesive build-up in the area
of the peel bar
The product transport is not
performed evenly, or with the
necessary repetition accura-
cy.
Product sensor (or possibly
reflector) loose or vibrating.
Alternating conveying system
speed (e.g. load-dependent)
Label with unsuitable adhe-
sive, insufficient initial adhe-
sion force.

Solution
Replace label roll.
Remove the adhesive residue
and examine the label roll for
damages caused by the accu-
mulation of adhesive. Other-
wise replace the roll if neces-
sary.
Check the sensors of the con-
veying system which is used for
the product detection.
Check the sensors and reattach
if necessary
Measure and log the speed. If
necessary, contact the supplier
of the conveying system.
Change the label quality.
