CYLINDER HEAD
INSTALLING THE CYLINDER HEAD
AND CYLINDER HEAD COVER
1. Install
• Stud bolt
Installing steps:
(1)The stud bolt 1 is attached to the
cylinder head while turning by the hand.
(2)Two nuts 2 of 8 mm are attached to the
stud bolt according to figure.
NOTE:
It's made to fix so that two nuts should not
loosen with a tool.
(3)Even a regulated torque is tightened
with a torque wrench.
Cylinder head mounting bolt:
10 N•m (1.0 kgf•m, 7.2 ft•lb)
NOTE:
• The tightening torque must cover for a
regulated value.
• Attach again according to the above
mentioned procedure detaching the stud
bolt when tightening more than a regulated
value.
(4)Remove two nuts 2.
