CONTROL SYSTEM
NOTE:
Make sure that the ignition timing and the
engine idling speed are normal before
implementing throttle cable adjustment.
1. Check:
• Throttle operation
Incorrect
2. Adjust:
• Throttle cable length
Adjusting steps:
(1) Disconnect the throttle cable joint 1.
(2) Set the tiller handle grip or throttle
control lever to the fully closed
position.
(3) Adjust the position of the throttle cable
joint 1 until it hole aligns with the set
pin on throttle control lever 2.
(4) Install the clip 3 and tighten the
locknut 4.
CAUTION
The cable joint should be screwed in more
than 8 mm. (0.31 in).
