CARBURETOR

DISASSEMBLING THE CARBURETOR

1. Remove:
• Float 1
• Needle valve 2
• Needle valve clip 3
• Needle valve cap 4
NOTE:
The float is removed together with the
needle valve, needle valve clip and the
needle valve cap.

CHECKING THE CARBURETOR

CAUTION
Do not use steel-wire to clean the jets.
This may enlarge the jet diameters and
seriously affect performance.
1. Check:
• Carburetor body
Cracks/damage
Contamination
• Needle valve
Grooved wear
• Pilot screw
Bend/wear
• Main jet
Contamination
• Pilot jet
Contamination
• Main nozzle
Contamination
• Float
Cracks/damage
• Collar
Wear/damage
