The silicon rectifier can be damaged If
subject to overcharging. Special care
should be taken to avold a short circuit
and/or incorrect connection of the posi-
tive and negative leads at the. battery.
Never connect the rectifier directly to
the battery to make a contlnuity check.

a. If battery sulfation (white accumula-
tion) occurs on plates due to Jack of
battery electrolyte. the battery should
be replaced.

Même si un seul des éléments est coupé,
changer l'ensemble.

Le redresseur au silicium peut être endom-
magé s'il est soumis
à
une surcharge. Une
attention particulière doit être prise pour évi-
ter un court-circuit et/ou un branchement in-
correct des fils positif et négatif de la batterie.
Ne jamais brancher directement le redresseur
sur la batterie pour faire un contrôle de con-
tinuité.

a. Si les plaques de la batterie sont sulfatées
(accumulation blanche) du fait d'un
manque d'électrolyte, la batterie doit être
changée.

schâdigt ist. den gesamten Gleichrichter
erneuern.

Der Silizium-Gieichrichter kônnte
beschlidlgt werden, wenn er elner zu
hohen Ladung ausgesetzt wlrd. Daher
unbedlngt darauf achten, daB kelne
Kurzschlüsse verursacht werden und die
Klemmen der Batterie nlcht mit falscher
Polung angeschlossen sind. Nfemals
den Gleichrlchter direkt an die Batterie
anchleiBen, um diese Prüfung durch-
zuführen.

a. Falls Sulfatierung (weiBe Ablagerungen)
in der Batterie auftritt. aufgrund von zu
weniger Batteriesiiure. dann
sollte
die Batterie erneuert werden.
