15.3 Transportation
When not in use, it is recommended that Users store the System in its original packaging.
Users should be aware that the System is classified as a Life-Saving, Self-Inflating Jacket,
UN Class 2990; under the European Pyrotechnic Directive (2013/29/EC) the System is
certified safe for transportation, including by air. Detailed instructions for its transportation
can be found in the Tech-Air

The Safety Data Sheet (SDS) can be downloaded using the Tech-Air
the App Documents Section.
In case the User needs to carry or transport the System personally, the User must ensure
that the System is turned off. The System can be turned off by opening the Activation Zip
(2) and ensuring that the zip tabs remain well separated so they can't attach and activate
the System in error. Alternatively, the System can be turned off by keeping the Activation
Zip (2) closed and holding the Display Button (3a) for at least 5 seconds. This will force
the System to turn off and the System will remain turned off until the Activation Zip (2) is
opened and closed again.

Tip:
The User can also take advantage of the System shutdown using the
Display Button (3a) in other situations where it might be useful, such as a
quick stop or break from riding.
