WARNING!
The System must ALWAYS be used with a properly fitting outer
garment that is in line with the User's actual body size. Use of the
System inside an incorrectly sized outer garment, or with an outer
garment that is not compliant with the size check recommendations
above, may result in the System malfunctioning or failure and injury,
including severe injury and/or death.
13. Transportation of Objects Inside the Outer Garment
When using an outer garment, particular consideration needs to be given to the objects
which may be placed inside the pockets. For example:
- Sharp or pointed objects placed in pockets may puncture the Airbag (11) and will
compromising its ability to inflate properly.
- Bulky objects may restrict the Airbag (11) expansion after deployment, potentially reducing
the effectiveness of the Airbag (11), and/or making the System feel much tighter when
inflated. This can increase discomfort, cause distraction or potentially lead to injury.
IMPORTANT!
Particular attention should also be given to the contents of the outer
garment's internal breast pocket. ONLY flat objects such as a wallet or a
mobile phone should be stored within the garment's internal breast pocket.
WARNING!
Only blunt objects that fit comfortably should be carried in the
pockets of an outer garment. Under NO circumstances should a
User attempt to transport any object- regardless of size or shape,
including sharp or pointed items- that is tightly packed into the
garment's pockets. Such objects can cause injury to the user and/or
damage the Airbag (11) when the System inflates.
WARNING!
During the Airbag (11) inflation the objects contained in the pockets
may be subject to sudden stress. Therefore, always be sure to avoid
placing fragile objects that may be easily damaged during deployment
in the pockets of the outer garment. In addition, do NOT place sharp
objects in the pockets as they could puncture or damage the System.
