Communication-Specific Standard Objects (CiA DS-301)
On reception of the correct signature, the active scaling parameters (TR mode / CiA
DS-406 mode) are checked for validity. Depending on result corrections of different
parameters are performed automatically or the parameters are not stored.
After reception of the write command, the device responds after about one second:
1. If the storing was successfully the device responds with the SDO-Transmission-
Response-Service (Error-Code = 0000h -> EEPROM OK)
- In case of a valid scaling parameter combination the preset value and the limiting
values for the working area are verified. If there is an area violation, the values are
adjusted according to the programmed measuring length.
- In case of a faulty CiA DS-406 scaling parameter combination the value in "Object
6002h: Total measuring range" is corrected automatically. No error message is
output.
2. If faulty TR scaling parameters are detected the device responds with the
SDO-Abort-Transfer-Service
(Abort-Code = 0604 0047h -> General incompatibility in the device).
The parameters are not stored.
3. If the storing failed the device responds with the SDO-Abort-Transfer-
Service (Abort-Code = 0606 0000h -> EEPROM defective).
If a wrong signature was written, the device refuses the storing and responds
immediately with the Abort-Code = 0800 0020h.
