8.6 Object 6003h: Preset value
The Preset Function can be used to adjust the measuring system to any position value
within a range of 0 to measuring length in increments –1. With the writing to the object,
the output position value is set without this having to be confirmed to in addition.

In order to ensure a safe acceptance of the parameters

changes must be first taken over and stored by means of "Object 1010h: Store
Parameters". In a further step the new Preset value can be written.
If storing could be completed successfully, the current preset value is verified. If it is
larger than the programmed measuring length, the preset value is adjusted to the new
measuring length.
Now, in another step the desired preset value can be written.

Risk of injury and damage to property by an actual value jump when the
Preset adjustment function is performed!
The preset adjustment function should only be performed when the
measuring system is at rest, otherwise the resulting actual value jump must
be permitted in the program and application!
