Select set point type.
Analogue signals: "LV high": Signal exceeds the preset alarm set point. "LV low":
Signal falls below the preset alarm set point. "Gradient": Signal changes too fast.
For quantities (calculated from the analogue using the integration feature): The
counter alarm set point is exceeded within the preset time cycle.
Hint: In order to monitor counter values for alarm conditions the necessary
signal analysis must be active (see chapter "Signal analysis").
Analogue alarm set point value in preset engineering units, e.g. in °C, bar, ... .
Quantity alarm set point (integrated analogue channel) in the engineering units set up
under "Integration".
Alarm set point when the signal changes too fast (the signal changes by a value of dy
within a time of dt).
Value by which the signal must change within the preset time span in order to be
recognised as an alarm.
Time span, within which the signal must change by the preset value in order to be
recognised as an alarm.
"Percentage %": set up hysteresis in %. "Absolute": Hysteresis set up in the preset
engineering units (e.g. in °C, bar, ...).
The alarm condition is only deleted when the signal has returned to the normal range
by the preset value.
The signal must have infringed the preset value for, at least, this amount of time
before it can be seen as an alarm condition.
Switches the respective relay (or open collector output). The terminal numbers are
indicated in brackets. Please take note of the connection notes (see "Safety
notes/correct use" or "Connections/terminal layout").
Hint: The relay is deactivated in the case of an alarm condition. Factory setting
means that the relay contact closes (relay 1)/(relays 2-5) or the open collector is
switched. This operating mode can, if required be inverted in the service level.
This text is displayed on the screen (with date and time) when the Alarm set point is
active and "LV messages" is set to "Display+acknowledge". This can be used as a
small process message for the front end operator.
Same as "Event text LV on", but message appears on return to normal operation.
"Display+acknowledge": Displayed message must be acknowledged by operating
the "OK" push button. The message consists of date, time and channel identifier with
the Alarm set point value (alternative event text LV off, if a text has been entered).
"Do not display": Alarm condition is displayed by the measurement point identifier
being highlighted red in the display.
"Normal": Storing the values in the standard preset cycle (settings in "Make groups -
store cycle").
"Alarm cycle": Store cycle in an alarm condition (Settings in "Make groups - alarm
cycle"), e.g. every second.
Attention: increased memory requirement.
