IL CARTRIDGE FILTER REPLACEMENT
After the first 300/1000 mi (first oil replacement) and
thereafter every 6000 mi, replace the filtering cartridge as
follows:
• Position a suitable pan under the oil sump to collect
the used oil,
• Drain all the oil as described in the "Engine oil
replacement" paragraph, chapter 2 in this section;
• Unscrew the small cover "A" using the special tool,
code 01 92 91 00;
• Still using the same tool, but fitting it in the opposite
direction, unscrew the filtering cartridge "B";
• Fill a new filter cartridge using the prescribed oil;
• Position the gasket "C" on the new cartridge, after
having lubricated it with oil;
• Fit the new cartridge in its special seat, tightening it
by hand to avoid over-screwing.
N.B.
Only use original Moto Guzzi spare parts
