EPLACING THE CLUTCH SYSTEM FLUID

Draining
• Remove the cover together with diaphragm from the
tank "A";
• Connect a commercially available brake drainer to
the draining union "B" for the transmission unit;
• Loosen the draining union and use the drainer to pump
until no more fluid comes out of the system;
If no drainer is available, connect a small transparent
plastic tube to the draining union "B" and immerse its end
part into a container placed on the ground and containing
the used brake fluid ; carry out the draining following the
below procedures::
• Unscrew the draining union by a 1/4 turn;

• Activate the clutch control lever until all the fluid is
expelled.

In order to completely empty the circuit , it is advisable
to remove the transmission cap "C" by unscrewing the
three fastening screws "D";
• Exert a pressure on the internal piston in order to expell
all the fluid contained in the cap.
• Re-fit the cap by tightening the fastening screws to
the torque prescribed in the table, section B, chapter
4.
Filling:
• Fill the tank with the prescribed oil taken from a sealed
container;
• Activate the clutch lever several times to fill the system
and bleed the air;
• Connect a drainer to the draining union;
• Pump using the drainer and loosen the draining union,
always checking that the level does not drop below
the minimum level;
• Repeat this final stage until there are no more air
bubbles in the transparent tube connected to the
draining union;
• Tighten the draining union to the torque prescribed in
the table in chapter 4, section B.
If no drainer is available, connect a transparent plastic
tube to the draining union, as described for draining the
system.
Open the draining valve by a 1/4 turn and activate the
clutch lever unitl fluid starts to come out from the said
valve.
IMPORTANT
Always keep the oil in the system up to level
during all the procedures and make sure that the
end part of the transparent tube is always
immersed in the drained liquid.
