Transmission cover fitting:
• Position the gearbox on the special tool (code 01 91 25
30);
• Insert the shimming washer and the retaining washer
into the main shaft, universal joint side;
• Screw and tighten the lock ring nut (d = 24 mm) for the
main shaft, universal joint side, to the torque prescribed
in the table in chapter 4, section B.
• Fit the relative transmission gearings onto the
secondary shafts, universal joint side;
• Insert the shimming washer and the retaining washer
onto the secondary shafts, as prescribed in the table
in chapter 4, section B;
• Screw down and tighten the lock ring nuts (d = 22 mm)
for the secondary shafts to the torque prescribed in the
table in chapter 4, section B;
• Fit the transmission cover onto the gearbox housing
using 3M sealant.
• Fasten the cover by tightening the screws to the torque
prescribed in chapter 4, section B;
• Insert the clutch rod into the special hole;
• Position the clutch's internal and external body as well
as the thrust bearing into their seats;
• Insert the clutch internal body onto the main shaft,
clutch side;
• Insert the shimming washer and the retaining
washeronto the main shaft, clutch side;
• Screw down and tighten the lock ring nut (d = 30 mm)
for the main shaft, clutch side, to the torque prescribed
in the table in chapter 4, section B
• Insert the universal joint into the special shaft and
tighten the high resistance screws to the torque
prescribed in chapter 4, section B;
• Fit the butt joint by tightening the relative screws.
