EAR BRAKE CALIPER
Disassembly:
B
• Remove the external shield "A" using a screw driver;
• Using a push rod and a hammer, beat the conical part
of pin "B", using small strikes, in order to remove it
from its seat thereby releasing the pads "C";
A
• Remove the spring "D" and the 2 pads "C". If the pads
are worn beyond the prescribed limit they must be
replaced with new ones;
Reassembly:
• Insert the 2 pads into the caliper;
• Position the spring;
• Insert the pin into the caliper so that the spring is caught
between the pin and the calipers.
• Refit the external shield onto the caliper.
