ALVE SPRING INSPECTION
Check that the springs are not deformed and are still
loaded.
O :
UTSIDE SPRING
• When free, it has a length of 40,3;
• When the valve is closed, it has a length of mm 35
and must provide a load of Kg. 20,33÷22,47;
• When the valve is open, it has a length of mm 24,4
and must provide a load of Kg. 60,8÷67,2;
• When packed, it has a length of mm 21.
I :
NSIDE SPRING
• When free, it has a length of 37,9;
• When the valve is closed, it has a length of mm 33,5
and must provide a load of Kg. 9,215÷10,185;
• When the valve is open, it has a length of mm 22,9
and must provide a load of Kg. 31,35÷34,65;
• When packed, it has a length of mm 19,6.
If the springs do not feature the above mentioned values,
they must be replaced.
