EAR SUSPENSION ADJUSTMENT
The motorbike is equippped with "SACHS-BOGE" type
single shock-absorber, with separate extension and
compression adjustment for the spring pre-load and
hydraulic braking.
The shock-absorber is pre-set by the manufacturer to the
following standard values:

EXTENSION: 34 clicks from fully closed position (ring-
nut "A");
COMPRESSION: 43 clicks from completely closed (knob
"B");
SPRING LENGTH IN ITS SEAT: 152 mm.
To extend the hydraulic braking, regulate the adjusting
ring-nut "A".
According to necessity and motorbike load, the shock-
absorber can be adjusted from position "1" , very soft, to
position "34" , very rigid.
To adjust the hydraulic braking compression, move the
adjustment knob "B" which has 43 adjustment positions;
from the minimum hydraulic braking position "1" to the
maximum hydraulic braking position "43".
To adjust the spring pre-load, using the special key, loosen
ring-nut "C" and tighten or loosen ring-nut "D"; tightening
will increase the spring pre-load.
The spring pre-load, starting from a completely released
spring, is from 8 mm to14 mm.
The length of the released spring is165 mm.
A limited series of motorbikes has been equipped with
"WHITE POWER" type shock-absorber, which features the
following calibrations:

To avoid damaging the threading between the
shock-absorber body and the ring-nut "D",
lubricate the threading with " SVITOL" , oil or
grease.
