4 ACCELERATOR /STARTER CONTROL

CCELERATOR CONTROL
The accelerator control hand grip, in all steering positions,
must feature a free travel, measured on the outer edge of
the hand grip, of 1,5 ÷ 2 mm.
Adjust this if necessary; regulate the special adjusting
screw "A" located on the control.
Moving the control, check the internal wire slides correctly:
Replace it if it shows signs of interference or sticking.
Accelerator wire maintenance:
• Remove cover "B" by unscrewing the fastening screws
"C";
• Grease the end of the wire "D" and the pulley "E";
• Carefully close the control, inserting wire "D" into the
cover's slide "B";
• Lock the cover with the two fastening screws "C".

Disassembly:
• Remove wire "A" from the accelerator drum "B" on the
throttle body;
• Loosen the two screws "C" and detach the accelerator
control together with the wire from the half-handlebar.
Reassembly:
• Fit the accelerator wire into the chassis in the same
position as prior to assembly;
• Insert the accelerator control into the half-handlebar
and tighten the screws "C";
• Connect the wire to the accelerator drum on the throttle
