Brake fluid
Check the brake fluid level. Add fluid if the
fluid level is low.
Recommended fluid:
a) DOT #3
b) S A E 7 0 R 3
c) S A E J 1 7 0 3 a ~ d
with240°C boiling point
Checking the disc brake pads
For easy check of wear on the disc brake
pads, a wear indicator is attached to inner
brake päd. This indicator permits a Visual
check without disassembling the pads. If the
päd is worn down to the indicator, have
your Yamaha dealer replace the pads.
