Cable inspection and lubrication
1. Damage to the outer housing of the
various cables, may cause corrosion and
often free movement will be obstructed.
A n unsafe condition may result so
replace as soon as possible.
2. If the inner cables do not operate
smoothly, lubricate or ask your Yamaha
dealer to replace them.
Recommended lubricant:
S A E 10W/30 type " S E " motor oil
Lubrication of levers, pedals, etc.
1. Lubricate the pivoting parts of the brake
and clutch levers with motor oil
(10W/30).
2. Lubricate the shaft of the brake pedal
with lithium soap grease.
