ances. Düring this period prolonged füll
throttle Operation, or any condition which
might result in excessive heat of cylinder,
must be avoided. However, momentary füll
throttle Operation, under load (2 ~ 3 seconds
maximum), does not harm the engine. Each
füll throttle acceleration sequence should be
followed with a substantial rest period for the
engine by cruising at lower rpm's so the
engine can rid itself of the temporary build up
of heat.
If any abnormality is noticed during this
period, ask your Yamaha dealer to check.
1. 0 ~ 5 0 0 k m ( 0 ~ 3 0 0 m i ) :
Avoid Operation above 4,000 r/min.
Allow a cooling off period of 5 to 10
minutes after every hour of Operation.
Vary the speed of the motorcycle from
time to time. Do not operate it at one,
set throttle position.
