5. Kick the kick crank with füll strength to
start the engine.
6. After the engine Starts, warm up for one
or two minutes. Make sure the Starter jet
(chock) lever is returned to the original
Position before driving.
Starting a warm engine
1. Shift transmission into neutral.
2. Turn the fuel petcock t o " O N " .
3. Turn the ignition key to the #1 position
and engine stop switch to " R U N " .
4. Slightly open the throttle grip.
5. Kick the kick crank with füll strength to
start the engine.
NOTE:
Do not operate the Starter jet (choke) lever
when the engine is already warm.
